Dessert catering in Houston: how to order dessert for your office

Ordering dessert for an office sounds simple until you are the one doing it. How many drinks? What if half the team does not drink coffee? Will it survive the drive? This guide walks through dessert catering in Houston step by step, using what we have learned from how group orders work at our dessert shop in Clear Lake.

Step 1: Decide what kind of moment it is

The right order depends on what you are celebrating.

• A thank-you or a win. Something indulgent that feels like a treat: frappes and a few desserts to share.
• A morning meeting. Coffee and matcha drinks do the heavy lifting; add something sweet on the side.
• A birthday or farewell. A mix, so everyone finds something they like.
• An all-day event or training. Plan for two rounds, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Step 2: Count your people, then count the drinkers

Start with the headcount, then think about who drinks what. In most offices there are coffee people, tea people and people who want something sweet and cold. A mixed order covers all three.

A simple way to split it:

1. Coffee drinkers: espresso drinks from the classic coffees route: Espresso, Cappuccino, Americano, Cortado, Affogato and Leche y Leche.
2. Matcha and lighter options: the matcha route and the smoothies route.
3. The treat crowd: the frappes route, including the Dubai Chocolate, Pistachio and Biscoff frappes.

Dessert catering in Houston for a group: one list, one order

The hardest part of any office order is collecting everyone's choices. Do that first: gather what each person wants, then send the whole list in one request.

Send the list with your date, time and headcount, or call the shop, and we will put the order together. Group orders start at $50. Our catering page has the details.

Step 3: Pick pickup or delivery

Pickup

Big orders can be picked up from Dubai & Dips Clear Lake. There is a free lot right out front, with more spaces around the side of the building, which makes loading up simple. Pickup works any time we are open:

• Monday to Thursday, 9 AM to 10 PM
• Friday and Saturday, 9 AM to midnight
• Sunday, 10 AM to 10 PM

Delivery

We deliver up to 5 miles from the shop, with a $15 minimum. For offices further away, pickup is the way to go.

Step 4: Give enough notice

For anything bigger than a normal order, tell us early. The more notice we have, the more we can do for your date and time.

Step 5: Plan the drop

A few practical tips for the day itself:

• Time it to the moment. Cold drinks are best right away, so time pickup or delivery for when people are ready.
• Label it. If people chose their own drinks, keep your list handy at pickup so everyone finds theirs.
• Think about allergies. Many of our most popular drinks feature pistachio. Ask us about ingredients when you order.
• Add something to share. A few desserts from the D&D Desserts route, such as kunafa, turn a drinks order into a proper treat.
